Clippers Drafted By NLL Clubs

(WINDSOR, ON) – Monday evening, the National Lacrosse League held the annual entry draft and two former Windsor Clippers were selected.

The 2017 Clippers captain, Andrew Garant, who smashed all of the Clippers scoring records, was selected 56th by the Vancouver Stealth. Also selected was former Clipper Josh Jubenville.

Jubenville played four seasons with the Clippers before playing his final year of junior with the Six Nations Arrows Jr A team. Jubenville was selected 40th overall by the Toronto Rock.

In the 2016 NLL entry draft former Clippers captain Logan Holmes was selected by the Buffalo Bandits. Another former Clipper, Brett Hickey, is one of the top scorers in the National Lacrosse League with the Rock.
