Canadian Tire, Bauer Helping Kids Get On The Ice

(BELLE RIVER, ON) – The Belle River District Minor Hockey Association has announced that they have once again been selected to be a host centre for the Canadian Tire First Shift Program during the 2017-18 season. The First Shift Program is a grow-the-game initiative designed to expose children to hockey before parents have to register them and purchase equipment.

All registrants for the First Shift Program will be fitted head to toe with all the equipment necessary to step onto the ice and try hockey. The kids will go through a personal equipment fitting with all the gear supplied by Bauer Hockey.

They will then participate in a 6-week learn-to-play program which will focus on having fun while learning basic skills.

The registration for the First Shift Program is only $199. There is limited space so click on the link to register early.

For more information, contact the Belle River District Minor Hockey Association or visit the First Shift Program online.

The fitting night will be October 18 at the Atlas Tube Centre with the on-ice clinic Saturdays at 12:15pm, starting October 28.
