Fratmen Win Regular Season Title

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor AKO Fratmen (7-1) will host the Ottawa Sooners (3-5) in Ontario Football Conference semi-final playoff action. The game will be played on October 21, with the kickoff scheduled for 7:30pm at Alumni Field.

The Fratmen completed the regular season on a seven game winning streak and claimed first place in the OFC conference. The Sooners finished in fourth place.

In their only meeting of the regular season, on October 2 at Keith Harris Field in Ottawa, the Fratmen were victorious 40-23. In that game, the Fratmen amassed a total of 328 yards of offense, 141 yards coming on the ground.

The AKO defense also picked off Sooner quarterback Evan Yourth twice.

During the regular season the AKO Fratmen led the league in points scored with 327 and they allowed the fewest; just 101. Ottawa scored 249 points during the regular season while surrendering 238.

The 2nd place Hamilton Bengals will host the 3rd place London Beefeaters in the other semi-final match-up.

Tickets for the game will be available at the stadium entrance for $10. Discounts are available for seniors and youths under 12.
