St. Clair Volleyball Establishes Winning Season

(WINDSOR, ON) – The St. Clair College men’s volleyball team improved their OCAA record to 5-3 on the season defeating the (0-10) College Boreal Vipers at the Sportsplex on Sunday afternoon. The win keeps them in a 2 way tie with Sheridan in 4th place in the Western Conference.

The Saints won the match by a score of 3-0.  Game scores for St. Clair were 25-6, 25-13, and 25-11. It was a solid all around team effort by St. Clair with the entire roster seeing lots of action on the court. Michael Knight (LaSalle) led the way offensively with 6 kills, 1 stuff block and 1 dig in 2 sets played.  The St. Clair men are currently ranked 8th in Ontario. The loss dropped Boreal’s record to 0-8 on the season.

The men are next in action on Wednesday night when they travel to London to take on the top ranked (9-0) Fanshawe Falcons, who are the best in the West, for their final match of the semester.
