Novice AE Take Oshawa Tourney

During the Oshawa Hockey Fest over this past weekend, the WMHA Novice AE squad skated to a perfect 5-0 record and the gold medal.

Jamie Bornais led his charges as they stickhandled past the competition. Windsor started off with an 8-0 shellacking of Stouffville and followed it up with a convincing 6-2 win over TNT.

In Game 3, Peterborough came out on the wrong end of a 4-1 score to set up another Windsor vs TNT match in the semi-finals. Windsor again gave up 2 goals, but fired 4 past the TNT goalie for the win to move on to the finals.

In their closest competition of the tournament, Windsor disposed of Whitby by a 4-3 score for the hardware.
