(LaSALLE, ON) – Wednesday night, the LaSalle Vipers opened their doors to the St Thomas Stars, who made the trek down Highway 401 on a snowy night.
The 1st period featured two Vipers goals. Kory Silverio netted a quick backdoor on a slick heads up pass from Jack Bowler. Hayden Johnston then picked up what went on to be the game winning goal, with 12 seconds remaining in the period, with assists credited to Bradley Vincent and Aaron Shaw.
The first period closed with the Vipers leading 2-0.
The scoreboard saw no more action until the halfway mark of the 2nd period with a goal from St Thomas’s Craig McKague, to tighten the score to a one goal gap. The 3rd period saw no scoring and the game ended 2-1 in favour of the Vipers.
LaSalle’s next home game is December 20 against the Komoka Kings at the Vollmer Centre with the puck drop set for 7pm.
