Rogues Open On The Road In Niagara

(WINDSOR, ON) – As the new rugby season approaches, the Windsor Rogues are preparing for an expansion to their operation. This year, the club will field two teams in the Niagara Rugby Union.

Continuing Windsor’s participation in the NRU will be the “A” side as seen over the past few years. The senior team will partake in the NRU A league, moving up a division in 2018. The junior team, newly raised this year, will compete in the A2 division and will act as a developmental squad for new and younger players.

All home games will be played at AKP Park with the A2 side kicking off at 1:30pm followed by the A side at 3pm.

Additionally, the Rogues will be hosting the annual Rose City International Rugby Tournament at AKO Park on May 5 and 6, with more details to come.

  • June 2 at Hamilton Hornets
  • June 9 vs Sarnia Saints at 1:30pm and 3pm
  • June 16 vs Guelph Redcoats at 1:30pm and 3pm
  • June 23 vs Niagara Wasps at 1:30pm and 3pm
  • July 7 at Fergus Highland
  • July 14 vs Hamilton Hornets at 1:30pm and 3pm
  • July 21 at Sarnia Saints
  • July 28 at Guelph Redcoats
