(WINDSOR, ON) – The St Clair Saints women’s soccer program has today announced the signing of Madison Kaldenbach to a Letter of Intent for the 2018-19 season. Kaldenbach, a native of Milton, is currently finishing up her high school diploma at Craig Kilburger High School, where she was the MVP for her junior team.
Kaldenbach is a 5’ 8” keeper who played for the Milton rep program elite team from U6 to U16. She has spent the last two seasons playing with Oakville in the Ontario Youth South League.
“I chose the Saints because of the great coaching staff and the players made me feel very welcome over the last few months,” Kaldenbach said. “I am looking forward to having a great experience as a student athlete in a soccer program that has been very successful the last few years.”
St Clair head coach Kris Geier is excited to have Kaldenbach with the program next season.
“She brings a wealth of experience as a keeper and has played at a high level with Oakville in the OYSL,” Geier said. “We had some injury problems in net last year and Madison gives us a proven keeper who should help solidify our defensive structure.”
St Clair ended the 2017 regular season in 2nd place with a record of 7-2-1 in the OCAA West Division. The Saints competed in the OCAA championship in Sudbury and finished the tournament with a 2-1 record as the Consolation Champions and 5th place in the province.
